Connecticut Main Street Center
The Connecticut Main Street Center is the state's leading, non-profit resource for cities and towns seeking to revitalize their "Main Street" districts. A member of the National Main Street network, Connecticut Main Street Center offers solutions and suggestions to make Connecticut's "Main Streets" thriving centers of economic and social activity. Plan of Conservation & Development

The Town of Enfield hired Abeles Phillips Preiss and Shapiro, Inc. of New York, an outside consultant, for ideas and suggestions of how to make the Thompsonville section of Enfield, Connecticut a walkable, more beautiful downtown area where people want to buy homes, and spend their free time.
